The Zig Zag scenic drive is beautiful and a "must visit" for anyone in the area. Splendid views. A careful driver required, who is not scared of heights!
However, at night there are often people driving very fast and dangerously. The Zig Zag has a bad reputation at night.

This is a lovely drive down from the hills to the 'flats'. You get excellent views far and wide. It is possible to stop, take photos and even go for a walk. a wonderful experience.

The scenic drive gives you a fine panoramic view across Perth, including the impressive city skyline. The track is quite narrow and windy - just as the name suggests - but is one-way only (basically going downhill) and there are places to stop and admire the views. When we visited (early October) the wonderfully colorful display of roadside wildflowers was much appreciated bonus.

This is the prefect place to go during the day or night to see the city view. There are several places to stop and enjoy the view on the way down. Great place to watch the sunset.
