Nice garden, nice fournitures but some very basic things are ruining the stay at the villa regalido. First, you're in the middle of the Provence country and they'll charge you 15 Eur per day for the parking! I would agree to pay that in the center of London but not in the middle of nowhere. OK so let's assume I would be OK with that, the least to expect would be that someone would park your car and take you luggages. Wrong pick.. I've saw a +70 year old man doing back and forth between his car and the reception with his huge bags with no-one of. the staff even bothering giving him a hand.
Now let's speak about the really bad things.. We had booked a superior room and were put on the other side of the reception in a floor level room. Let's be clear, you can simply hear everything the upper floor room neighbors are doing in their room. The ceiling is shaking when they walk, you can hear water running down the pipes, you can hear everything they say. Well.. You got it : take your earplugs with you.
The room was very dark, not enough lights. NO WIFI!! No internet in a 4 star hotel in 2017!? TV was barely working, the fist 10 channels were just dead.
Now the good things : the staff is nice and friendly (even though they don't help you with your luggages). The breakfast is good (didn't test the restaurant). And the place is really charming and well maintained. We liked the decoration and the atmosphere of the place. Nevertheless, not worth the money according to me. The least I would expect for almost 300 Usd a night (without breakfast and parking) would be a quiet room with wifi.

This is a little hidden gem, we can't wait to go back! We booked our stay at Villa Regalido without being very familiar with the area. It was a bit far from Avignon, so don't plan on using taxis/Uber unless money is no object. But if you have a rental car, you'll be good to go! Having said this, we absolutely loved this hotel AND the location. Avignon was lovely, but very hot and hectic. It was heaven to get away from the "city" and relax in this little oasis in Fontvieille. The rooms were absolutely lovely, as was the hotel in general. The staff at Villa Regalido could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our first night in Avignon, we got stranded since we didn't realize that taxis are not readily available. The person at the hotel arranged a taxi for us and stayed on the phone with us to make sure the taxi found us and that we got to the hotel ok. They also helped us arrange taxis, book a boat tour in Cassis, etc. The pool is a bit small, it's more of a plunge pool but that's not a critique, it's just a fact. We still thoroughly enjoyed the pool area which is shrouded by trees, serenaded by birds, and so so relaxing. The whole hotel just has a very serene vibe, it was exactly what we were looking for. Also, we were delighted by the many fantastic restaurant choices in the area, considering how small the little town is. We had a wonderful dinner at Le Patio, which is literally steps away from the hotel. We absolutely loved Villa Regalido and would definitely visit again!!!

Room Tip: We absolutely loved our pool-view room.

It's a nice place to stay in a very pretty village. The room we stayed in was great. Spacious and well equipped. Super nice comfortable king size bed, nice decoration, beautiful view. Overall the villa is indeed a nice place offering a nice breakfast, great garden and swimming pool.

The downside for us was the lack of wifi. You can only get a good signal in the reception area. It was funny because people were flocking there to be able to talk to their families, plan trips & check things online. If you are not travelling for business, it's fine. If you are, it's a bit annoying having to work all the time by the reception.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good too, although it would not hurt adding a bit of vegetables (there were none). If you are staying there several days, breakfast will get a bit repetitive.

Another thing we didn't really find comfortable was the bathroom in our room. It's a nice spacious area, but would't hurt to put some protection around the shower. Otherwise, you end up splashing water all over the space, including your towels, floor, amenities, you name it. Not nice.

Stayed in this beautiful little hotel for two nights recently .A lovely room (Iris D'Eau), tastefully decorated with a secluded terrace and separate sitting room.Parking was a tad expensive at €15 per night, but worth it for peace of mind.Plenty of spaces on the street outside should you wish take advantage.
The food was of an excellent standard, the cuttlefish served on our first evening being exceptional.Service from the charming Nadine was warm and efficient. All in all a very good hotel and a place I wouldn't hesitate to return to.

Unique Provençal hotel. Lovely decorated room with balcony. Beautiful grounds. Found a Fantastic restaurant in the the village next door to the Lou Planet rock."La cuisine au Planet" It was was amazing. Staff very friendly. Drop off bags then park on street as that way you don't need to pay fee.
