I had my first dinner in France at this restaurant. And returned several times for dinner. The service was impeccable, the food was cooked to perfection. Do not miss this unassuming restaurant if you are in Pornichet, France you are in for a treat. Be sure to have the Rhum Baba. I say this is the best restaurant in Pornichet, France.

I can't rate this small, unasuming family run restaurant enough. If you are choosing a restaurant based on the quality of the food, then this is the place to go. Frequented by holiday makers and locals alike, you can see why people come here. The food is excellent, fresh and with true insight into flavour combinations and presentstion. The maitre d was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about both the food, it's origin and the method in which it had been cooked. She spoke English well and did her utmost to keep myself and my children at ease for the entirety of the meal. The price of the meal was extremely reasonable and the attention to detail exceptioal. Everything is homemade from the aperitif nibbles and bread, to the sorbet dessert. The food is locally sourced and organic where possible and the menu accommodating to all tastes. Even the beure blanc is a generations old family recipe. The only thing I would change is not finding this wonderful place sooner.

This little restaurant has a short menu, but do not be put off. The food is gorgeous - beautifully fresh and cooked to perfection. We had melon sorbet as an amuse bouche, and crusty bread with anchovy butter, plus very reasonably priced aperitifs. Moules on crunchy sable biscuit followed by fish - hake in superb beurre blanc sauce and a local fish, in herby, piquant sauce.
Puddings were wonderful, rose flavoured isles flottantes and rhum baba, with high quality rum poured over the savarin cake at the table. Our hostess was charming, with very good English, happy to translate and describe the menu.
This restaurant deserves its top ranking on Trip Advisor, and has obviously built up a loyal and satisfied following.
The decor is a bit quirky, but great to see local artists exhibited on the wall.
Highly recommended.

Very good food, high class. The service is outstanding. After the first visit we decided to go back in 2 days. Then we had Blue lobster. Absolutely delicious. First time octopus, also great. If you have possibility visit this very little friendly spot. Should get a star in Guide Michelin

This restaurant only cooks with local products (or as much as possible). It is excellent. The downside is that the venue isn't that attractive. It's a little lacky, but the taste of the food is worth the visit.
