As a vegetarian I have a pretty hard time finding anything suitable in the region of Brive la Gaillarde. At Passiflore I was surprised to find an excellent vegetarian dish! The service was impecable and the price was fair. I definitely recommend it.

This is not the first time we go there and we are never disappointed. Everything is home made with local and fresh products greatly worked by the chef and his team. Awesome presentation, modern decor in the restaurant. The prices for what you get are more than fair. 27€90 on Friday night for a 3 course menu including a choice of foie gras, smoked salmon, scallops + few canapés. Great service, no pressure at all with a nice break between each course. Will definitely go back.

Thank Alexandre K

First impressions of this restaurant is great. Lovely decour, great table layouts. The service seemed friendly enough. Then things started to go wrong. We were offered their "trademark" Mojitos, only to be informed that they had run out of mint. Punch, and some wine ordered instead.

When the starters of salad with ham arrived, we had to remind them about the wine, it was dumped on the table by a sullen waitress who continued to treat us all through the lunch as if we were a real inconvience. The salad itself was, at best, forgettable with, I am sure, a bottled vinaigrette.

My main course of steak with pasta was simply awful. In a region of France that produces some of the best beef anywhere, mine was flavourless and a little tough. The pasta was very overcooked, completely lacked seasoning, and only tasted of flour. It was served with exactly the same salad and dressing as the starter. At one point, I had to ask the waitress to stop the kitchen staff smoking right outside the window where I was sitting, as all I could taste and smell was their smoke. In retrospect, that at least provided some flavour!

Dessert was a packet "creme anglaise" (custard) with a processed raspberry coulis.

This place is style over substance, and one to avoid. Just overall dreadful food matched by dreadful service.

My Partner and I enjoyed a great lunch at this attractive restaurant. The decor is crisp and contemporary and service calm and attentive.
We chose the set Lunch formula ( 19 euro) which was refreshingly simple but delicious and a definite blast of southern French cuisine on a cold winters day. We began with large grilled mussels with a garlic and cheese topping. Our main courses where chicken with a cream and mushroom sauce and a mixed fish grill consisting of perfectly cooked fish and shell fish with aioli. Both dishes were beautifully presented and accompanied with fresh vegetables and buttered noodles. For dessert we both chose Catalan flan, which was creamy and correct. Our choice of wine was equally as good as the food, an organically grown rose at a very reasonable price.
