A wonderful hotel in the Palace at Lancut, excellent helpful staff, a good restaurant with an interesting wine list and spacious bedroom and bathroom. We stayed for a week at Christmas and the view over the park in the snow was beautiful, a perfect place to relax in style - we would like to thank everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view over the park rather than the courtyard

I stayed here for one night on bussines trip. Next time I will stay rather on one from main road guesthouses or in Wroclaw. This is maximum 1 -2 stars hotel. Absolutely lack of services, even lack of hotel booklet with basic information in the room. Old furniture, old linen with missing buttons, only some polish channels on TV, no internet. For late night arrival, sleeping and early morning departure is OK, for longer stay look for something else!
One surprise - set menu breakfast in restaurant is for this hotel nightmare very good in nice enviroment and here I saw first smile from personnel in all stay.

Being actually in the magnificent palace of Lancut is awesome. However, the rooms themselves would not make you think you are in a palace. Furnishing and decor of the rooms are more Soviet style, although the furnishings are relatively new. The rooms are also on the small side. The onsite restaurant provided a very good breakfast which was included in the price. I also ate dinner there, and it was quite good as well. For the price, however, the hotel was a good deal.

The real disappointment came with not being able to tour the palace. Mutiple times a year they close the entire palace for tours (the wing with the hotel and the restaurant remain open) so they can hold a conference, usually of government bureaucrats, during the usual opening days for the palace. These are poorly publicized and they apparently do not even let the hotel know. Indeed, on check-in the reception told me the opening hour the following day for palace tours, in blissful ignorance that it would be closed that day. If I had known the palace would not be open for tours, I would have planned my trip differently. This practice is kicking tourists in the teeth and is totally unacceptable.
