A lovely hotel, a short walk from the port and the town centre. Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable, spotlessly clean room and spacious modern bathroom (although if you are very tall or a larger built person you may find the shower unit a bit of a squeeze). We had a seaview double room. Bright, spacious, simple but colourful room, with large terrace. Perfect place to stay. The pool and surroundings are lovely, shame it was too cold to swim yet!

Room tip: I can recommend the seaview double.

Aktea hotel in Lipari is located close to the harbor and about 6 blocks to the central part of Lipari Island where there is a comercial zone plenty of little souvenirs shops, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and boutiques. The Hotel itself has a very nice group of buildings surrounding a central patio and the rooms there get directly to the swimming pool. We stayed there with our two kids in a family room which was very good and spacious, so the kids got their own space.
Their breakfast buffet was good.
It was nice place to stay with the kids. We could stayed longer if we had the chance.

A very nice hotel over looking the Sea and the town of Lipari Island. Rooms are large with all the facilitis you need. The wifi is very good, and so Breafast and diner. Good velue for money. This hotel was a start point to the Island of Stromboly and his working volkano.

Room tip: Just a wonderful hotel

What a great place, well located, spotlessly clean, very professional and friendly staff, lovely pool and hassle free.
We visited as an "add on" to an organised tour and it was the best hotel we had stayed in. Unfortunately my husband was taken ill and needed and emergency operation at the local hospital. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and supportive. They made a stressful time easier to cope with. I would love to return to this wonderfully relaxing hotel.

I stayed here for four nights in August in a triple room with my 14-year-old twins. This was a great base for us to explore the Aeolian Islands. The property is spotless, perfectly located and had a nice pool that was not crowded even in high season. If the design was a bit bland, the outstanding service we received makes me give this place the highest marks. I particularly want to single out Margherita, who could not be more lovely and helpful. She planned several exclusions for us and advised us in which would be most suitable for our family. When one option was booked up, she planned out a great alternative for us, mapping out the ferry schedules and writing everything down. When we had to cancel and reschedule an excursion, she was extremely gracious. I would say we got 5-star service at Hotel Aktea.
