Good comfortable rooms set in garden. Lots of outdoor area to use. Quaint decor and museum items scattered around. Very good breakfast. Within easy walking distance of everything. Friendly helpful staff

English below.

We were not able to try Oriente hôtel as we got stuck on Stromboli because of bad weather and all boats were cancelled for 3 days. Despite early pre warning to the hotel, they refused any refund, hiding behind booking.com conditions while it is upon hotel to decide on refund. Rooms were likely rented again to people stuck on Lipari... Real customer service shows up in difficult time, clearly not up to expectations so be aware...

This hotel was part of our hike journey in Eolian islands. A very atypical place with its collections of ... everything! amazing! the rooms in the garden are lovely, again you feel alike at home. Breakfast was good and complete.

We had a chance to stay at this amazing place for 6 nights and never tired of it! You know it is different from the get-go when you see the front window filled with antiques which you discover is only one-hundredth of the collection which decorates the entire premises (except inside the guest rooms). The hotel is actually an official museum, which was started by the current owner's (Manuela) father. The rooms are maintained impeccably, each offering a roomy veranda and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is very nice and offers American style coffee as well as other beverages. We were very fortunate to be there when the lemons and oranges were for picking, which you were welcome to do. The gardens were remarkable with many garden tables and chairs. Loved it! Location was great, very close to the main street and reasonably close to the ports.

Room tip: Suites in the courtyard offered more to offer than those in main building.

Antonello picked me up from the port and he was very helpful throughout my stay.
The main bit of the hotel is absolutelyfull of spotless antiques and memorabilia if you can cope with that, you'll have a good time .
There is a lovely garden
You have a great breakfast.
Room was fully equipped andquiet, if a bit spartan. But after the main bit of the hotel, that could be a relief
