Our arrival didn't start off well as they were stopping up for us as our flight didn't land until 10pm in Ancona. We should have been there at 12pm however the A14 was closed 10 minutes away from the hotel, we had a 1.30 hours detour across the mountain. The hotel was lovely and waited up for us. We were every appreciated.
They served you breakfast in the morning if you told them what you wanted due to COVID. There was enough choice. We did ask for a sandwich one lunch time and wow, it could feed a family of four, great for our walk in the mountains the next day.
The rooms were large but basic with a stocked bar fridge and kettle with tea and coffee, however we did have to ask for this and milk.
We did go to the hotel pool which was more like a pond. We wasn't amused to find a black labrador dog swimming in there though! So I wasn't due to dog hairs everywhere. The gardens were very tranquil especially if you wanted to chill for an hour or two next to the pool.More
