On the Tripadvisor scoring system you can mark 3 for "Average" and 4 for "Very Good", I would give this hotel a 3.5 and a "Good". I & my wife stayed here 1 night in mid-June, hotel Eliani is located about 1 km from the main beach, yet it’s a very pleasant walk and a distance you can cover in about 15 minutes on foot. Grado town centre is in between. Our bedroom was facing the back of the hotel, it had a balcony, air con, safe and TV (a bit outdated). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Free wi-fi connection is available. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and very bright and full of light, breakfast itself was ok apart from two things: - the coffee didn’t have a great flavour and it is, disappointingly, not freshly brewed but you take it from a coffee machine placed on the table, where you select your choice of espresso / cappuccino / caffelatte, etc. - the “fruit juice” is not real, it’s a powder to which water is added, I find this a bit lazy and could be improved very easily. Other than that, there was a not-too-bad cake (not sure if it was home-made or not) and yummy fresh sweet pastries, plus some cheese & cold meats, yoghurt, etc. The landlords are friendly enough.
