We had dinner at Osteria Silvestro Garda on Tuesday evening and what a lovely experience.
From the moment Doro the extremely welcoming waiter whom we heard speak 3 differ languages all with good humour and friendliness to all guests during our visit.
Silvestro is a small Osteria with a big menu serving a choice of wonderful food. We enjoyed prawns, venison, pasta, sea bass, Parma ham with smoked cheese, excellent red wine and coffee.
Excellent value for money, as the rain fell outside it was wonderful to be enjoying such good food and atmosphere.
We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and offered limoncello on finishing courtesy of the house a nice touch.
They close on a Wednesday and I would imagine in high season it will be busy so book.
It’s a simple decorative restaurant but boy it’s an excellent dining experience.
We highly recommend and we will return when in Garda next.
