The start was very good..Floriana led us through the medieval roads of Erice to deliver the luggage at her cosy family run hotel. The nice lobby and the light and spacious room was a treat and perfect for us. The advantage being at the center of this historic town was a great plus, just walking out of the door looking for the treasures and the nice shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good (at an extra of 5 euro), but the view from the breakfast-room was spectaculair... Thats how you want to start your day. Thanx for your kindness and special place.

The hotel sits in an historic building and has tremendous charm. The owner is very attentive and knowledgeable about the amazing town of Erice. The accomodations are very comfortable and the location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel owner makes an obvious effort to enhance every guest’s experience and since he speaks excellent English his help was very useful to us. We hope to have the privilege to stay at the hotel Elimo again. Thank you Antonio.

Erice is a charming ancient hilltop village rising steeply to 750 metres above sea level and so it is sometimes in the clouds when the streets can be dank and moist. In full sunshine it is a delight and a good base for exploring the nearby coastal salt pans, Phoenician settlements and, above all, the wonders of Segesta. The Hotel Élimo is a good base for this, with comfortable rooms, ample hot water and very helpful staff, especially Antonio. I would firmly recommend it, and also there a good restaurants nearby.

A comfortable stay for 4 days as a base for exploring both Erice and Segesta, Monreale etc. Made the mistake of trying to drive to drop luggage at hotel. Not recommended. Park at bottom area at entrance to town and short walk up. Then Antonio will get car up etc, he also helps get weekly parking permit €10 for parking in blue lined area.
Hotel comfortable, good varied breakfast, enjoyed unsweetened muesli. Staff very helpful and friendly, giving good dining out recommendations.
All very spooky 1st day, with town totally in cloud. Sun the rest of time with great views. The walk from main gate clockwise round the walls was very good. Town great for exploring. It gets coach loads of visitors during day. It was not a problem when we there but might be in high season. Is quiet at night.

Room Tip: We had ground floor room at front , so got street noise. Wasn't too bad with Windows closed, but rooms at back probably best.

Hotel Elimo is a quaint hotel in the town of Erice. We were given good information on where to park before checking in and Antonio came to meet us and drive our car to the hotel so we could unload our luggage. The rooms were nice and any comments we had were quickly handled. Buffet breakfast was provided and was well done with personal service for morning coffee. Antonio was very helpful in telling us how to get places and what to visit.
