We came here for a dinner. Service was little bit slow but the main problem were prices and quality of food. The food was very expensive and absolutely not worth it. Completely out of flavour, zuchinni spaghetti with pesto swimming in the water, disgusting, poor performance by the chef. As if it wasn`t enough, price for service high almost as another main course. Too disappointed to visit again.

We came back to the restaurant after 5 years of being away from Cortina. Nothing changed in interior: chalet style, nice music, low light, good table arrangement, romantic atmosphere. Service is a little slow, had to wait for wine for some time. Meal was amazing as 5 years ago: our veal was melting in the mouth. Wine also was very delicious. Now a bad part: prices for the same meal have risen two times + now you have to pay 10 euro per person service surcharge, which brings you to more than 150 euro for 2 people for bottle of wine and main course. I remember coming to this place almost every day to enjoy their meal, now for such bill you can find plenty of other even better places in the city.

I went there on the first of jan for a NY lunch with my family, for which we booked one week in advance. When we got there, they had given our table to another group who had no reservation but got there before us, and blamed the mistake on the very busy day. As a result we had to est the first two courses outside in the cold, on top of that, they kept on forgetting drinks and some of the starters we ordered.
We moved inside for main and dessert, and we were treated well with extra sides and meat to compensate; we were also not charged for desserts and spirits we ordered. The food quality was good but not impressive: some of the starters were too salty, we sent back one main because it was cold and one meat dish because it was overcooked. This would be a 1-star review however they really managed well their mistake with extra food and discounts. However the overall experience was still unaceptably bad for a restaurant so expensive (€430 for 7 people post discounts)

We arrived at Toula on a snowy evening, walked in hoping to find some warmth but it was freezing inside too. Apparently the boiler was not working, but our friends confirmed it was just as cold a couple of weeks ago.

Food was delicious, no complaints there. Service was absolutely mediocre especially considering prices. Waiters seemed in a huge rush (restaurant was almost empty), almost knocked my wine glass over with my dish, dropped my husband's knife when clearing his and were generally not paying attention.

We requested music as we saw the "piano player" smoking by the entrance. He reluctantly sat at the keyboard, put on a couple of tunes... Pushed past our table twice to look out of the window at the snow (considering we are in a ski resort, not sure what the fuss was about...) he then stomped off without even greeting guests.

A lot of work needed on service and ambience. Overpriced.

We had an exceptionally good family lunch here, faultless. From the outside the place looks nothing special, but inside it is beautiful and cosy with stunning views over the Dolomites. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Max and he looked after us superbly throughout as it was a quiet Monday lunchtime. Our initial intention was to have one maybe two courses, but the food on offer was simply so special that we had three courses. The guidance from Max on the food and wine was expert and enabled us to chose each dish and drink to precisely suit our tastes. A very special and memorable dining experience which all our family enjoyed and was the highlight of this holiday. Not cheap, but still good value for this highest standard of cuisine and service.
