Description: With its fantastic panoramic terrace it greets and pampers guests against the majestic peaks of the Tofane. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly, always attentive to any request, also those related to choices vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, eager to meet all the needs of its customers. The cuisine is fantastic; you can try specialties from Ampezzo and typical Tyrolean and Italian dishes and delicacies, according to the chef’s daily imagination. It’s a good place for events, ceremonies and romantic, candle lit dinners. There are games and activities for children. The all new cottage was recently remodelled entirely in light wood, so the guest feels surrounded by a family atmosphere which only the mountains can offer. The structure was built with the maximum respect for the environment, which adapts perfectly to the extraordinary and uncontaminated natural scenery surrounding it. The woody hall is elegant and refined, and furnished according to mountain tradition and typical Ampezzo customs. The hall also often hosts themed art shows to attract the interest and curiosity of its guests.

Ate here a few times as the food was amazing each time and wanted to try a few dishes on the menu. Staff are very friendly and service is quick, tip - go up the cable car early and book a table as it gets busy later on.

Conveniently located at first stop of cable car (the one next to ice stadium), this restaurant offers spectacular views of the mountains. We were a group of 7 and we all enjoyed our meals - carbonara, warm chicken salad, shredded artichoke salad - and the vino. Mimmo provided excellent service. Even if you don't eat here, you should go for a coffee or drink as you can't beat the views. We sat outside one day and enjoyed it so much we returned the next day and sat inside as it was snowing.

I realize that in such a busy place you cannot expect top quality, but to be served a overcooked carbonara is really unacceptable. The cost is not high but I would not eat such a dish even for free.

I called here with my daughter (13 years old) a couple of times during the week. It’s ideally situated at the top of the 1st cable car and a separate chairlift. The staff are really pleasant, the hot chocolate is delicious and the lunch was fantastic (and at a reasonable price for a mountain ski stop).

We had lunch in this restaurant and it was just great! I had a salt with deer, it was tasty. Pasta is also good. The staff is so friendly, they forgot to add the cake to my note and when I told them, they did not want to let me pay, they said it will be from the house.
