We rented Karen's property for the month of July in 2016. The house was perfect and roomy. Karen was great and available when we needed her. The property itself was fabulous, especially for the 6 kids we had staying with us. There was plenty of room for all. Also nice that everyone had their own bathrooms too. Great area with the Auchan just down the ways, Paul up the street, and beautiful trails/walks that connected Limonest to Lyon. If we could have I would have stayed longer.
merci Karen pour nous laisser rester

Room Tip: All the rooms are perfect. There is no A/C but Karen provided all the rooms with fans.

We only stayed one night as a break heading from Paris to Move but it was a very clean modern B&B. We were made welcome by Karen and enjoyed the use of the pool in the evening. Breakfast was continental and more than adequate. A well run venue that should suit couples or singles well.

Room Tip: The rooms are equal

We just finished a full week at Karen's B&B. Everything about the experience was excellent. The pre-arrival logistics were politely and efficiently taken care of and we had very good communication. The property itself is excellently maintained and everything was very clean and very well presented. We rented the whole house for the week and had access to everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. Although Karen and JG were not there for the week they made it very clear we could contact them at any time if we needed anything. The grounds were lovely and the pool was excellent and exactly what was needed this summer while in Lyon. Each room has its own modern bathroom and the decoration in each room was well done. In short, the property was excellent.

Staying in Limonest I think is a very smart choice for someone who wants to visit Lyon and the surrounding areas. We rode bike's and took day trips to Annecy. We also went into Lyon each day for touring and meals. We took the 10 minute drive to the metro and then had full access to the town. Basically from the house to Place Bellecour was 20-25 minutes if you used the metro. We shopped at the local grocery store for the occasions when we prepared meals in the house.

It was probably one of the hottest summers in France for a long time this July and the house did heat up during the day, however the pool easily cooled us off and each room had ample windows and pedestal fans so at night we opened them up and cooled down quickly.

Karen was very friendly to deal with and we recommend the business highly.

Also - her chocolate is excellent - there was plenty of it left for us in the house.

Room Tip: All rooms were equally good.

Stayed for 11 nights while on a business trip and could not have had a better time. Karen made me feel like I was staying in a friends home rather then a random hotel guest. She speaks very good English considering the immediate area is not considered "touristy".
I accepted her offer for dinner on two of the nights and she definitely knows how to cook. The free breakfast is simple and equivalent to any other 3+ star hotel in Lyon, but Karen makes fresh bread and chocolate chip croissants every morning and are always cooked to perfection.
The room was large and very clean. The walk-in shower is a big change from most European hotels I've stayed.
All in all it was a great trip and if given the opportunity, I would book another stay in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Each room seemed to be priced based on size but aside from coloring theme, there wasn't an obvious difference in amenities.
