We stayed 5 nights in a one bedroom chalet and did the Abel Tasman walks and kayaking each day from there. The lodge is next door to the Aqua Taxi and R&R kayaks so very easy for trips. It’s also half way between 2 restaurants, I recommend the Park restaurant. The chalet has everything you need and has an amazing bathroom shower. It’s extremely comfortable and our room had a nice deck with outdoor furniture and view of horses and country side. This is the perfect base for the Abel Tasman.

The lodge was perfect for our family of four, with our friends’ family of five in the chalet next door.
The service was impeccable. The beautifully decorated rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every day.
All staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hosts, Jocelyn and Scott were very knowledgeable about the local area and more than willing to book excursions for us and organise activities. Every request from us was met with a smile, from buckets, spades and beach umbrellas to first aid and even a night light for the kids!
The chalets were all full, but the beautifully appointed and maintained grounds provided space and adventure for all the kids, and private spaces for the adults to relax in the knowledge that the kids were safe. Walking distance to the beach, kayaks, water taxi, the track, cafes and amazing ice creams!
Clean, well equipped communal kitchen and bbq area, and everything you’d need in the chalets themselves.
Can’t recommend this lodge more highly.
We will definitely be back, it’s just a matter of when!
