Lovely walk around Dinas Head. About 3 miles, little steep in places but overall fairly easy. Had been raining so was quite muddy and slippery, but if you have on hiking boots or something similar should be fine. Definitely recommend as the scenery was beautiful. We happened to come in the spring as well and were able to see all the lambs running around in the fields.

Clockwise from the 'Old Sailors'.

Late January, blowing a gale, but (luckily) in-between showers! Although very windy, it did blow the cloud away and we had splendid 180Deg (at least !) views of the sea and coast. Absolutely beautiful.

Very slippery under foot due to recent downpours and increased wind chill due to gales - So, advice....Make sure you're wearing the right gear at this time of year and it's a great experience.

The path's a little awkward and moderately steep in places, but nothing too extreme - It may just take some longer than others. The NT Warden that passed us striding out in wellies filled us with envy and shame all at the same time ! But we took solace in the fact that ''he must do it loads''........That was our excuse anyway.

All-in-all it's a great 3 mile circular route with some fantastic views, which takes 1.5>2.5 hours according to your capabilities.

Ok so we are quite strong walkers and the walk actually isn't that gentle and the muddy conditions were a little challenging as was the weather...but that doesn't stop us.
We were staying at a nearby caravan park so it was a short walk down to the western cove where The Old Sailor pub is (review elsewhere) and from there we walked clockwise around to Cwm Ye Eglwys. The walk is tricky in places and the poor weather hid the views that other reviewers have posted. A brisk walk of about 90mins.

Totally agree with Sue W - do the walk anti-clockwise. It makes the ups and downs much more friendly! Great walk, wonderful views.

Park at Pwllgwaelod and take the headland walk in an anti-clockwise direction. The route is easier to achieve this way around - the track is uneven and can be slippery in the wet, so better to go up awkward slopes than descend.

In Cwm-yr-Eglwys you may find an ice cream salesman in the car/boat park area. If there ... buy one, it is delicious ...

Views are lovely and far reaching, there are also views into small bays and also towards the harbour at Fishguard. Just lovely all around and not excessive at 3miles.
