I recently visited the Orange Tree Theatre for a performance of ‘The Humble Boy’. It was my first visit and the small, intimate theatre in the round, enthralled me. It was comfortable, well managed and a really tremendous venue for an excellent evening’s entertainment. Highly recommended.

This is the first time we've visited this theatre . We saw a performance of Shaw's Misalliance which was entertaining and enjoyable . The acting was very good. The auditorium space ( intimate theatre in the round ) is excellent for ensuring audience engagement . We enjoyed our first experience here and will look out for opportunities to come again .

After many years of living in the area we made the much promised trip to the Orange Tree Theatre and were not disappointed. Conveniently located in the heart of Richmond-Upon-Thames, across the Road from Richmond mainline and tube station.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and seemed to take a real pleasure in their work.
The theatre itself is a two tier 360 degree experience which puts you right on top of the performance. Comfortable seating and just the right temperature ensure you are not distracted from the show in front of you.
Will. be returning soon.

I have frequented this wonderful little theatre, many many times. It is a smaller stage than most other theatres but that adds to the intimate atmosphere. The actors very often enter the stage from different parts of the theatre, which again adds to an air of excitement and closeness. I have always loved the informalness that this small theatre exudes... Long live Orange Tree Theatre!

This continues to be a wonderful theatre. Since my last review it has been great to go to performances now the seats are numbered. Also I've enjoyed the high stool seats on the 3rd/back rows on the ground floor level, and would choose them in preference to the more traditional seating where you can be a bit "lit-up" on the front rows. Recently chose them for a 115 min performance of "Winter Solstice", without an interval, and they were great.
