Came with friends after going on Google for things to do in Windermere.
Had an amazing time. John is a fantastic host with great knowledge of Windermere and the properties surrounding it.
The lunch time food was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed steering.
Will definitely be coming back for the evening one with the hubbies.
Thank you John.

Yet again an absolutely fantastic evening aboard Sail n Dine. Cannot recommend highly enough. John is an excellent host and cook ‍. Beautiful uninterrupted scenery of Lake Windermere whilst dining outside, it does not get any better! Thank you we will be back (again and again)

What better way of exploring Windermere than on a lovely yacht whilst being fed superb food? We had seen the positive reviews for Sail n'n' Dine and thought we would try it out. John was an excellent host - his communication is brilliant, his cooking is even better and his knowledge of Windermere and the Lake District is exceptional!

The food was superb, restaurant quality yet cooked on the boat! John had prepared a birthday banner and even allowed us to steer the boat on the way back.

A fantastic evening, can see why John receives such glowing reviews, highly recommend the evening trip and sure the lunchtime cruise is just as good!

We’ve been coming to our place in the Lakes for years but never thought about a dinner cruise on the Lake until this week. My wife suggested it and I googled it and Sail ‘n’ Dine came up. Checked it on trip advisor to see a perfect score. Rang up, left a message and John, the owner/Captain/chef/bottle washer/social entertainer rang back to say how lucky we were as he had just had a late cancellation - he is booked up for weeks ahead which is always a good sign.
John picks up all guests who are reasonably local to Windermere and he was there prompt at 5.40 with 2 other guests. We then picked up the final 2 who turned out to be a honeymoon couple which made it even more special.
The boat was a beautiful 33’ sailing boat. We set off at 6.30pm and sailed for about an hour while John told us stories about the place, the large houses and their owners which was fascinating. We moored just off Storrs Hall. John served complimentary drinks or you could pay for champagne. Whilst we were drinking and getting to know each other, he was preparing a beautiful 4 course meal which we ate in the galley.
It was a really memorable evening. Fantastic weather, beautiful sights, nice company, lovely ship and super food. Couldn’t ask for more! Thank you John for making it a memorable evening. As Arnie says ‘We’ll be back’
