The hotel is in a nice little shopping area with a short stay car park. Over night parking rate after 7pm. Room clean but not enough towels available staff friendly and we were able to check in early which we appreciated as it was raining

Typical Travelodge but better than most, lovely room, very clean. Storage space might be a problem for a longer stay, but adequate for our 4 nights. Staff were very pleasant. There is no bar or restaurant but as it is in the town centre there are plenty of dining/drinking options within close proximity. There is no car park, parking is in the Saxon Square car Park. £2 overnight but you have to be off your chocks early to top it up at 8am. Not a problem for us we parked at a relatives house. There is free parking on side streets within what I would consider reasonable walking distance. So parking might be a problem depending on your personal circumstances. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a vending machine for snacks in reception. In my opinion a bargain and would stay again.

Room was clean and very basic.A rail was all we had for clothes. No shelves,no draws,we dressed out of our cases. No air con,a fan was provided. The parking was a public car park at the rear of the shopping Mall.We had to keep feeding the metre for the two days we were there, almost every four hours. No provision made by the lodge at all.Would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

We're sorry that you were disappointed with the lack of storage space, and if the room temperature affected your stay with us.

We strive to make our customers as comfortable as possible, fans are offered for our guests and we are taking measures to ensure our rooms are cooler.

In any case we would like to apologise if these measures have not been enough to guarantee a good night's stay for you.

Thanks again, we will continue to find new ways to improve the service we offer.

We stayed at the Saxon Square Travelodge on a recent 4 day visit to Christchurch, the hotel is conveniently situated on a shopping centre within easy walking distance of restaurants & bars, the room was basic with little storage space but was clean modern & ideal for a short stay,it also had a coffee machine, the reception staff were very polite.
All in all a very pleasant stay was had and we would certainly stay there again next time we are in town.

You just can't beat a well run chain hotel and Christchurch's own Travelodge is just that.

We have relatives in Christchurch and friends in Poole so this easy to access motel type establishment is perfectly located for us, being close to the A35. yet part of the local High Street with its pubs, shops and restaurants.

Parking is handy, the council-run car park literally steps away (you pay!) so you can easily carry or roll your bags to the front door. There is a lift to all floors and good attendance on the reception desk.

The beds are so very comfortable, the wifi easy to order - you get 30min. free each day - the TV excellent, bathrooms clean and well planned, and the staff pleasant and helpful.

We shall return in a few weeks and I know we'll enjoy another fault-free stay.
