Very disappointed with the time we had to wait for our starter and ten also for are main. The bar area was very untidy and full of dirty glasses. The tables were also in need of a good clean. When the food did arrive it was only average but was hot enough witch was one good point. We won’t be in a rush to visit here any time soon again.

We called in for a few drinks which we had and then thought we'd have a bite to eat.
We both went for steaks, I had a double dipped ribeye, it was ok not the most tender steak I've ever had, the best thing was the side of mac'n'cheese, the plank it all came on was too small and I couldn't believe when the waiter put the food down a chip dropped on the table and he threw it back on the plate...cheeky git
Wife had the smothered rump, I know she said for it to be well done but it looked like it had been on a bonfire for a couple of hours.
You get what you pay for in life, would call back in for a pint maybe.

We were a group of eight pers down from Lytham for drinks , the place wasn't packed so it was no problem finding a table and chairs near the bar but also in the line of fire from the kitchen and ladies & gents WC. We all thought that maybe somebody had had an accident because the smell was not acceptable for a public house. Location is ideal, near the promenade and the Square. Staff were friendly, prices acceptable, just needs to smell better when you walk in.
