came over for the football . this seems a decent pub .decent surroundings .we had two mixed grills . which were nice enough . they seem to have nice section of food on offer.
some offers seem quite good . i wasn't driving so i had numerous long island teas . spot on . staff seem friendly enough . one of those places you wish was closer to your home

Excellent service, delicious food (some good vegetarian options too), cheap prices, and a cosy atmosphere. Brilliant for watching sports or just chilling with little background noise. Very comfortable and welcoming. I come here often with the Mrs and it's been consistent each and every time, cannot fault the place or staff- Stephen's great, always friendly and helpful

A much improved pub since it's recent refurb, good to see the upstairs put to proper use, as it used to look really tatty from the street below.
The George Wallis caters for just about everyone, personally we tend to go for food and drinks at weekends..love the sharer 'plank' which is really good value.
It has a nice atmosphere with a good range of drinks at good prices (CAMRA members can use their card here too.)
The place can get a little bit loud and sweary on match days but it's only once a fortnight for an hour or two and it's the same all over the city anyway.
Staff are excellent and friendly and seem able to serve you fairly in waiting order when it's busy.
One little tip...don't sit near the door in very cold weather, you get an icy blast when someone walks in!
Great all-round pub though, be there again very soon!!

A breakfast stop, we don't get to Wolverhampton much, but I'm sure that the last time we visited here it was a Wetherspoons. We do remember that the staff were very good, great selection of drinks, hot or cold, and a good menu, and that's still the same, but the restaurant was so cold, had to keep our coats on.
