My family and I have been here before, and enjoyed some of the lovely Cakes and Sandwiches. My Mom and I decided to try the Afternoon Tea.
We have had the Tea at other places, including Garden Centers, but the Afternoon Tea here was exceptionally AMAZING! Well worth the money! The Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, with a great variety too!
There was also Quiche, and the pastry melted in the mouth, with the filling light and airy! The scones seemed like they had not long left the oven, and there was two types each, Fruit and plain.
The cakes were delightful, and with unlimited REAL loose Tea, such a lovely, warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were so Friendly and helpful! Nothing was too much!
If you have not tried Patisserie Valerie before, I would 100% recommended it!
Well done Patisserie Valerie Staff for making this afternoon a special and memorable one!

Never been here before. The first visit last week after the new shop opened we just had coffee. The service wasn't too good. Coffee was luke warm and had added chocolate to the drink when wasn't asked for. This was replaced when asked.
Went on Saturday for breakfast. This was really nice. Three of us had pancakes with fruit and my husband had an English breakfast. Very enjoyable.

Lovely lunchtime visit with my friend, we enjoyed tea and lunch and a good selection to choose from on the menu. We were looked after by a friendly waitress Frances and received excellent service overall so will be back again. A good choice of seating too and nice surroundings to meet friends.

My daughter bought us a Groupon deal for afternoon tea at the new venue in the main shopping precinct. On arrival we were impressed with the look and feel of the new place and were quickly shown to a table and provided with a coffee. Sadly the standards deteriorated rapidly from that point on starting with a huge wait of in the region of 45 minutes for what constituted a few sandwiches ,scones and mimi cream cakes. We just could not understand why the service took so long even after complaining twice at the delay. It was pretty obvious that we were not alone with our dissatisfaction as lots of people were waiting for food and we saw several people complaining.Whilst there appeared to be lots of staff around they seemed totally disorganised and at one point the staff seemed to be approaching melt down.At no point did anyone come and offer an apology for the delay even though it would have been patently obvious that we had been sat without service for a very long time. When our food finally arrived there were no napkins, no cutlery and no jam with our scones & cream ( they had apparently run out - we were offered marmalade but that just does not cut it !! ). To round matters off a beggar came to our table as we were eating asking for money - yuck ). To be honest things were so bad it was almost comical looking back but needless to say we will not be returning.

Enjoyed a pleasant visit to spend an afternoon tea voucher given as a Christmas present. The cakes, sandwiches, scones and tea were varied and very tasty. We certainly felt full by the end of the meal. Our experience was in the old premises and was a bit lacking in space but this did not detract from the quality of food or the attentive service we received.
