The food is really rather good. Nothing mind blowing but definitely of a good standard.
The chicken in all three dishes was a little mushy which is a consequence of over matinating food (probably overnight - its seemingly common with Indian restaurants).
Onion Bahjees were delicious, and their mint sauce is properly minty! (which is a rarity). Popadums were lovely.
I had a chicken korma which was marked as 2/3 hot - there was only a hint of heat so I'd go a level higher than you are used to if you want some heat in your curry.
It was very busy on Thursday evening. We sat at 8.20 and didn't get our main courses until 9:40 which was way too long. I mentioned this but was ignored.
Service was unremarkable, and the restaurant is really really noisy when busy. Unpleasantly so. Not enough soft furnishings (what happened to booths? :-) ) and too many people.
Overall a pleasant enough meal but I won't return in peak hours.
