Went here for the first time with our 7 year old grand-daughter having seen that they did an "early doors" fixed price menu at £12.95 and £6.95 for kids. This is from 5 till 7 on most nights except Saturday. Parked on the street car park just round the corner (free after 6).
Restaurant felt warm and welcoming with lovely decor and some nice chandeliers. We hadn't booked but were shown straight to a table. We were presented with the full menu and the meal deal one which still offers a huge choice and only excludes the pricier dishes from the full menu.
The offer is poppadom, pickles, starter, main dish, side dish, coffee and mints. After the lovely poppadoms we had onion bhajis and chicken pakora - all were nicely presented, well cooked and full of flavour - in particular the chicken pakora our grand-daughter chose were excellent and it was a full size dish (6 pieces!).
After an appropriate interval our mains of various chicken dishes and rices were served - again superb flavour and served nice and hot in heat. As an extra we ordered a family garlic naan which was HUGE and delicious. We declined the coffee but they kindly provided a lovely ice cream with whipped cream at no charge for our grand-daughter. Thank you for that - always nice to have accommodating and friendly staff.
For drinks we had a Cobra beer, white wine and a diet coke and the total bill came to £51 - brilliant value for money. And the kids price includes full size portions on all courses and not tiny rations.
The only slight negative is that the rear of the downstairs seating area where we sat was a little too subdued in its lighting - if you go then ask to be seated upstairs on the mezzanine floor where it is a tad lighter.
Overall a great meal at excellent prices - this was our first but won't be our last visit

Excellent attention from the staff in a pleasant atmosphere and food in large portions the "creamy chicken tikka masala" was however too hot for my wife but none the less tasty..good value for money.

Visited with a large group from work, lovely place inside, very spacious. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Started with pickle tray and poppodom, then fish pakora, very nice followed by chicken dhansak, absolutely beautiful with pilau rice and three of us shared the garlic family naan, very big portion of naan and the Curry itself a generous portion. Loved the food and would definitely visit again in the near future, can highly recommend.

The food is amazing here, so we ordered some dishes for a collection. When we got home we realised they had forgot our garlic naan. I called up and they immediately offered to make our whole order again, because it would have been cold by the time we got the garlic naan. This was kind enough, and we were happy to go back and collect it. When we got there the man I spoke to on the phone was waiting for us and was very apologetic. I said it was fine and I just appreciated the fresh food. He then gave us a bottle of wine for our troubles. The food here is so good, it was worth the two trips, and the customer service is even better. Would definitely recommend!
