many choice menu include Crabs, shells, fish and any local seafood available here and great staff.I have seen much better beaches. Really don't know why people think it is so marvellous but still ok. Not a place that I would like to go and spend some time at. It is not even that big a place to feel that you can enjoy your time there.

We visited this beach during June 2017. BEach is good, view is ok but beach is small compared to traditional beach. But must visit one time if you are visiting Penang.

This is the start or end pointfor a visit to the National Park. You can take a boat to the park from the beach, and then hike overland to Teluk Bahang proper tat h a bus to the interchange lower down the road before switching to the bus to Batu Ferringi or Georgetown.

The place itself is a quiet Malay village, with small eateries and some motels. If yiu are hungry, there is a decent Nasi Padang stall near the busstop, where you can order nasi campur (you place various items like beef rendang, fried fish or 4 corner beans and the lady will charge you at your table)
