We liked this modern hotel, the building is low-line concrete and glass and quite minimalist. The reception is not attached to the rooms and suites so it doesn't really feel like a conventional hotel but more of an adult hotel. Although it does have a childs pool there was no kids club (while we were there), waterslides etc. There is plenty of room for sunbeds so has a nice spacious feel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and efficiently helped us as we needed documents printed and mucked up the safe. Good breakfast and free transport to airport. The negatives would be the temperature of the pools which were far too cold for swimming. I can appreciate that the outdoor pool may not be heated but the indoor pool seems to be a wasted resource as it is unused due to the fact you'd need to be defrosted after using it. It's a short pleasant walk along the seafront to Paphos and some great restaurants. The restaurants immediately outside the hotel are ok but it's worth a walk into town for a better selection.

Stayed whilst on business but mainly a tourist hotel for holidaymakers.

Nice, modern and spacious - the iron & board in the wardrobe was very welcome as often have to request these.

Nice breakfast included in spacious and airy breakfast room with lots of choice and good service in there from the staff.

Free parking by reception and overall a good choice and would not hesitate to stay here on a holiday as plenty of bars & restaurants nearby and a nice 15 minutes walk to the harbour.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Amphora. The rooms are modern and spacious, the breakfast is quite good and the overall external setting looks very good. The response to adverse events, like ants in the room was adequate and effective. The advertised Spa needs some improvement: the indoor pool is not heated enough, and the dry sauna is minuscule and it’s located inside the dressing rooms, making it male or female only.

Very limited dinner menu so did not eat there in the evenings. Breakfast good, except for the coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar staff welcoming and chatty. Happy hour in the bar excellent value.

Room Tip: Avoid room near the Suite 48 bar and restaurant which is noisy.
