When in Lower Barrakka Gardens you will see the siege bell war memorial. In order to get there you need to go down and cross the street.

Nice view of the bay and 3 cities from here. When cruise ships come to Valetta, it is a cool place to watch.

One more memorial remaining one more tragic period in difficult Maltese history.
Very harmonious object, definitely worth to visit.

Visited in March. Very impressive Bell Tower and Monument.

Great panoramic views of Valletta.

We visited the War Museum first, then stumbled upon this beautiful monument.

A must see.

Such a lovely memorial to those who lost there life in the war.

The bell strikes each day at 12 and there is a warning on the gates at the foot of the stairs leading up to the bell tower warning people.

From the top there are some excellent views over Valletta. You will note a solider laid flat on a stone plinth.

This symbolises how they used to lay them flat, then tip the bed so they slid down into the sea.

We got that off a guilde who was showing a group round while we was there.

Another one of the must see things while in Malta...
