Location
Excellent base for exploring Valetta, never used a taxi on our one week visit. Easy walking distance to fast ferry to Gozo.

Room
For those not spending time in the room, this is sufficient. The suite has double balcony & seating area overlooking the magnificent Grand Harbour.

The room can be claustrophobic for larger individuals, wash basin too low, distinct lack of hooks and table space. In any return visit, we would book a larger room.

Amenities superb, room very well serviced.

Top quality breakfast, presentation and service very good. With covered outdoor seating providing best views of the Grand Harbour. Can be expensive for those staying for room only booking.

Pre-arrival communications very good, gym facilities superb, staff were excellent!

Our room at Iniala was stunning ! Modern design; large and comfortable, with THE view across the Valletta Grand Harbour to Fort St. Angelo. Beautifully integrated into a series of historic buildings, the hotel has an excellent gym, spa and indoor pool. The hotel restaurant has the same views across the harbour and the breakfast was very tasty. The fixed course restaurant dinner menu did not suit our preferences, but we did enjoy excellent quality food with a room service dinner (which we enjoyed with our balcony doors open!). The hotel is also conveniently located a short walk ‘up’ to the main streets for shops/restaurants/cafes (and to the incredible St John’s Co-cathedral). Iniala is expensive, but it is a hotel which enhances the already amazing experience that is a visit to Valletta. And the rates at the time of our visit (late November) were significantly less expensive than those of the ‘high season’. Hotel service was excellent, with the concierge helpfully organising airport transfers, as well as, private tours of Valletta tour and across to Gozo (both of which are highly recommended).

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful stay in the Hideaway Harbour View Studio, a few doors along from the main Iniala Harbour House hotel. The location is fantastic and the staff were all brilliant. The butlers and housekeeping staff, who served afternoon tea and drinks, cleaned and serviced the rooms and offered a daily turndown service, were all so helpful, friendly and polite. They are truly a credit to the hotel and really made our stay a special and memorable one. Thank you very much for a great stay! We definitely hope to return!
