Very impressive place from medieval times. Full of tourists taking pictures of the very old buildings. A must visit.

Really enjoyed this old city cleanest place we have visited in malta , hand full shops eateries and historic and church based places to visit ..... l do hope they do not over comercialise this area to make €€€€ it would be a shame easy to get there by bus
Very busy l would go back at night as would quieter and spooky .....

A MUST visit. Truly beautiful and a gem, but there is no life. This is a heritage site, not a town so do not expect any life. More like a stage set with that amount of soul to it.

We visited the Mdina on a bus tour. Stunning setting. Very clean. Visited the Game of Thrones filming locations, since we are fans of the who. It would have been more interesting had we hired a tour guide to walk us thru the city. While it is incredibly clean and tourist friendly, unless you have a guide giving you the history, it's another ancient city in Europe. We spent 2 hours walking around, taking pictures. Which was enough time to get a look at the city, without going deeper into the history.
