We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was clean and cosy lovely drench shower. Friendly helpful staff. The building is magnificent. We ate in Restaurant both morning and evening and the food was exceptional. One disappointment was the menu which included Puffin and Whale # meet us don't eat us.

This was a great place to stay on a recent trip to Iceland. Clean, comfortable, great restaurant, very helpful front desk employees and convenient to several bus stops for tours.

Lovely hotel in a very central location. Pretty park across the street. A little bit of street noise at night but it wasn't bothersome. Beautiful room, very clean, amazing shower. Super helpful staff. Would stay here again!

The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The bed comfort was average. The water pressure in the shower was very good and there was also a towel warmer. The only improvement the room could really use is a few more outlets, especially near the bed.
The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and very responsive to our needs. When arriving in the early morning, they stored our bags for us and took them to our room so they were waiting for us when our room was ready, which they called & emailed us to let us know it was ready.
The location is fantastic, right in the center of Reykjavik. The hotel itself has no parking, but it is pretty close to the Ráðhúsið parking garage.
