Perfect location in City Center of Reykjavik! The rooms are nothing special, but comfortable European style rooms. Concierge was so nice and helpful! You can also visit several sister hotels in walking distance for spa and other amenities.

Center Hotel Klopp was centrally located - close to major attractions/landmarks, bars, restaurants, and shopping. Rooms weren't huge, but decent size (we had 3 girls ages 23-25 & we were fine). They were extremely accommodating by allowing us to add an extra bed in the room (for a small fee) and giving us late checkout at no extra fee. The breakfast was a great start to each day, and saved us a good amount of money. There is some street noise from the Irish pub across the street- but that didn't bother us much. The staff are extremely friendly & went above and beyond giving us recommendations for around Reykjavik. There is a parking garage located 2 mins walk down the street that we used for our rental as well. Overall, really good value for the money- would stay again!

Was our first visit to iceland and we were not disappointed. The central location of the hotel was excellent. Ideally place for visiting places and bust stops around the city. The hotel was brilliant. Rooms were warm and clean, reception area also warm and well kept. All the hotel staff were very helpful and polite. I must mention Farooq who checked us in . Was so informative and helpful places to go and eat location of bus stops etc. Nothing was to much trouble. If we return I think we will. Would definitely come and visit this hotel.

Excellent hotel, cosy, inviting, & clean. Bed was so comfortable! Prime location, easy & gentle downhill walk to bus stop 14 for excursions and transfers. Good choice of breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Farouq in particular was helpful and accommodating, printing my documents, charging my phone, booking transfer etc. I highly recommend this hotel!

Pro’s:
-receptionist Farooq was excellent and went above and beyond to help us and provide advice. Helped us out when we missed our tour bus and his calm approach was also appreciated. Probably best hotel receptionist we’ve encountered anywhere.
-excellent location walking distance from all major sites
- great view from room
- warm, comfortable room , not spacious but yet it worked out great
- great breakfast with breads, fruit, boiled egg
Only con is that TV didn’t work in room due to internet connection but didn’t need it that much anyway. We recommend this hotel!
