I went yesterday and it was a great experience. Icelandic names are hard but after looking it up on the website, I believe our tour guide's name was Palli (can't recognize him without glasses). He looked like Owen Wilson ladies...lol. He was great and the company should be proud to have such a representative. He is truly proud to share his culture and personal stories about the areas we visited.

The tour was well run. Snorkeling in the middle of winter was not as cold as expected. The equipment was great and I only felt cold in my hands and cheeks. What you need: wool socks, base layers and, if you have long hair, a hair tie. The swim was peaceful and the lazy current let's you glide along. The water was so blue! Stepping out of the water and standing in the.middle of the lake was breathtaking.

Caving was fun. I have never seen anything like it. The lava fields were a dream and the cave was beautiful. Iceland truly is blessed with these beautiful places. What you need: waterproof gear (pants and jackets) and gloves. You'll be crawling and crouching while water is dripping on you from the ceilings.

Booked my trip through Iceland excursions but tour was operated by artic adventures. Artic sells directly too!

The blue ice glacier hike is great, climbing the ice wall is one of the hardest physical challenge, but very safe and well supported by the guides, reaching he top gives you a large sense of achievement! The guides are very friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Just returned from my trip to iceland. We took this tour from Reykjavik and was very glad that we did! The day starts with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, then driven for a couple of hours east to the start of the glacier. Hiking on the glacier is an amazing experience, the ice-wall climb is challenging but the guides are very knowledgable and friendly and put you at ease. I recommend that anyone going to iceland should go on this tour! Remember to wrap up warm!

Caving: Great tour! The guide made sure to point out several things that I would not have known to look for in the cave. He went at the pace of the group and made sure to give us options when it came to the path. I also really liked that we met another group in the cave and they did a bit of storytelling. Note: Make sure that you are prepared to go caving as soon as you leave the hotel. We were a bit surprised to find out that we were going directly to the caving site. I thought we might get an opportunity to change, and while I was ready to go, my friend was not. She needed a changing room. Also, you don’t need waterproof gear in the cave like they tell you on the reviews. Fleece and quick dry pants are good enough. Rain gear will get snags on the rocks in the cave.

Snorkeling: The guide did a great job of giving us instructions for how to use our gear. I felt like he was very thorough and I liked how he demoed each piece of gear. The dry suits were fun and I loved the sleeping bag insulators. You will get a little bit wet and cold in the water, but don’t worry it won’t be bad. I didn’t get cold until the very end, and by that point we were getting out of the water. If you don’t have an underwater camera, you need to make sure to rent one from them when you book. We didn’t thinking that we would get the opportunity to during the excursion. The water is crystal clear and it’s really pretty to look up to see the surrounding landscape as you are snorkeling. The only improvement I would suggest is to have more small and extra small gear for small hands and heads.
