Booked this hotel thinking I was booking the white building in the pictures. Sadly, this wasn’t the case, but wasn’t informed of where I was staying until two hours before accessing the property. The whole thing is fine by email, I had to download an app to access the room. Never encountered another human, the whole time . Didn’t bother me too much as we didn’t need a concierge, but for some people I would imagine that was a little bit annoying. Turns out we were staying in a building in a courtyard which backed on to the port nine wine bar. This meant people standing outside our room, having a cigarette during the Fair weather during the night, luckily the bar is shut at 11 pm as people did tend to get quite rowdy. The room itself was great, very roomy, spotlessly clean. Nicely designed with everything we needed. Except a bread knife! Every day we were provided with a basket for breakfast, which consisted of fruit, yoghurt, a little bit of meat, plenty of cheese. And fresh bread, which we did have difficulty cutting as there wasn’t a knife. but plenty of food to set us up for the day ready to explore. We had hired a car, and downloaded the parking app, there are plenty of P2 parking spaces around the accommodation, and we never had much difficulty parking.
