This old building and surroundigs is facinating, but staff wasnt unfortunately professional.
Eyerolling and sighing is something one would not expect at this kind of a hotel.
Breakfast was mediocre. No tableservice (not even for coffee) and e.g. cheeseslices looked like been there for a while.
Room was very hot and beds needed updating.
One can visit here just to eat at the restaurant et cetera but no need for staying a night.
An old hotel, in the very downtown, with all necessary comfort. Good vibes and soft atmosphere. A parking is available too.
Very lovely service and hospitality. Bistro food as the breakfast was really good. Hotel has kept it's authentic figures, lovely! Toilets flush really long and curtains lets the light in. Really clean and I had a chair in the shower! You're only ab. 600m from Finlayson's restaurant places or the other way towards Hotel Ilves overlooking the rapids of the rapids of Tammerkoski.
The placement of the hotel is good, close to most of the sights of the city center.
The atmosphere of the hotel is great and the staff are friendly, and the restaurant was nice.
Can absolutely recommend the hotel.
I stayed here for the third time and I'm falling in love. The building and decoration alone make it worth the visit. The staff's polite manner reflects the hotel's dignified history. The breakfast is always good and the season's delicacies are a nice bonus.
