We need the entrance fee 3€ to enter this church. Nothing much to see, but this church builds by rocks, totally different with the usual church.

Outer church looks interesting with a lot of stones on it but went in it is very Magnifying and majestic. Feel very peaceful there . Structure is very nice .

I highly recommend visiting this church. It is built into the bedrock, hence the name, is circular, and the acoustics are amazing. Each day, someone plays some sort of an instrument, which is lovely to sit and listen to. You can purchase tickets in the cafe around the back of the church (it's theirs, but the tickets are discounted), or at one on the vendors on the way to the church, also discounted. Sometimes there can be a line at the door, and you have to pay full price.

An amazing g building utilising an ice age rift in the rock. When we first got there it was a bit noisy due to a coach party of tourists, but they just stood at the back. Move to the front and it is very beautiful but also very peaceful. It is a big tourist attraction so try and avoid peak times.

The Rock Church feels more like a concert hall then a church. And the wonderful acoustics can also give you that impression. The architecture is stunning, most of it being set in solid rock. There are no paintings and if it were not for organ and a small cross nothing would tell you its true function. When I visited (worth the 3E entry fee by the way) there was a small concert of some weird vocal music. Wasn't on my taste, but could hear that special acoustics of the building. Do take a day and visit all the main churches Helsinki has to offer.
