We were staying just a stone's throw away from this shopping centre, Quality Hotel Globe (please refer to my earlier review of the premise here too) and this is a 2-storey shopping centre (with basements). The design of the centre is quite modern and trendy, stretching quite long from one end to the other end and was very bright with commercial offices on the higher floors. It's quite relaxing walking here as its "all the way ahead", without the need to turn left or right.
There were quite a number of boutique stores and shops here, selling fashion (i.e H&M), lifestyle items, candies, beauty and wellness (i.e. The Body Shop), books and stationery, arts and crafts, household items, toys, money changing services etc. There were also restaurants and cafes, such as McDonalds, Japanese and Western food restaurants among others.
On the basement 1 was the ICA Supermarket, which was quite big and offered visitors choice of fresh groceries, dairy, sundry and household items.
When we arrived at the centre, as it was lunch time, the centre was packed with people especially at those dinning establishments. We later returned in the evening (after our walk-about in the old town), the place was less crowded. So we grabbed some fruits and snacks here before returning to our hotel. Outside the centre is a huge compound area with greenery and passage way and also provided a good view on the Ericsson Globe and the Arena.
As mentioned in my post about the Quality Hotel Globe, the Globen Train Station is just a good 5-min walk from here and so its very convenient to get to the city centre.
Overall it was quite fun and enjoying shopping here but if there is a large anchor departmental store here, it would be perfect!
