We stayed in the One Bedroom Pool Villa (804) for 7 nights bed and breakfast and I can honestly say it will be one of the most memorable hotel stays I’ve ever had purely because of the standard of the room, it’s view and hotel amenities.

The suite is so large - over 1000ft - with separate lounge, two bathrooms, huge outdoor covered veranda and private pool. The view is outstanding and you get sun on the balcony from sunrise to 6pm. The quality of the room is very high - beautiful shower and bathroom with contemporary design and high exposed-beam ceilings. Our room sat close to the main building driveway with only a small access road nearby which wasn’t disruptive at all - the staff use small electric buggies so you don’t hear any traffic.

First impressions of the hotel main building were great, with a warm and friendly reception and quick tour of the property. It’s a large, international standard 5* with everything you’d expect from the Angsana brand. The main pool area is very attractive and has great views too.

In terms of food and beverage the offering from this hotel is very nice. The breakfast is fantastic with barista coffees and all the choice you would expect. The fresh orange juice was amazing! For lunch we ate twice at Sofrito which then turns into Koh in the evening. The food was fantastic each time with a lovely view. The rooftop bar and juice bar are still to be opened. Shoutout to Sofia from Breakfast and Spyros in Koh who both were outstanding hosts.

Also an acknowledgement to the room cleaners who were lovely and very hard working-the room was always spotless. The turndown was a nice touch.

I would recommend a stay here to anyone. There is as a mix of families and couples. It’s a very chilled hotel - there is no evening activities or entertainment and the bars were very quiet. But this could also because we are in Covid times and the hotel is operating at 50% capacity. If you have stayed at other Angsana brand hotels before, you’ll notice that the service in Corfu Angsana is not quite hitting the standard of their other hotels yet but they are trying hard, the staff are lovely and they will get there.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room tip: The beach isn’t that great - very pebbly and limited food offerings. It’s also a buggy ride from the hotel which is at the top of the hill.

Angsana resort on Corfu's East coast is the island's brand new five star offering. It is physically stunning with its minimal design and relaxing neutral tones and bold textures.

This visit was my first trip out of lockdown, an opportunity to see my beloved sister after nearly two years due to Covid. All we wanted was a luxurious environment, attentive service and good food. Angsana, a Banyon Tree Resort, lived up to our expectations barring the expected opening kinks that need ironing out mainly around a few novice, but very polite waiters.

There is an amazing infinity pool overlooking the sea, delicious food, a first-class gym and plenty of chic space to simply lounge around and enjoy a drink and conversation. Of course there is also the renowned Banyon Tree Spa. Sadly, because of Covid, they are only able to do massages at the moment.

The front desk staff are excellent and attentive. They addressed all of our needs quickly and efficiently. Our stay was wonderful, the rooms are fantastic, well thought out and very comfortable.

The resort is well situated for access to Corfu Town and several glorious beaches and delicious tavernas. Also, the magnificent Achilleon Palace is a stone's throw away.

Corfu is an uncomplicated island and the people are charming. It is a bit shabby around some of its edges, but Angsana is its diamond on the east coast perch above the sea. We can't wait to come back to enjoy that amazing view!

My wife and myself are nearing the end of a most enjoyable 8 night stay at the Angsana Corfu (the Singaporean Bangtree Group’s first European venture) overlooking both Benitses (11 Kms from Corfu Town) and the Ionian Sea.

A brave decision to open such a property (159 rooms & 37 villas with some finishing touches still required) at this juncture but it’s predominantly’local hire’ policy has generated some much needed employment opportunities resulting in many bright youngsters now cutting their teeth in the Hospitality Sector..

Rooms/suites are spacious and appointed to an extremely high standard. Dining is in the same vein with an excellent Breakfast Buffet and several Dinner options.

Staff are excellent and can’t do enough for you - my special thanks go out to the Front of House, Concierge (constantly being pulled in several directions), F + B and Housekeeping teams. This all bodes well for the future as occupancy levels (currently around 35%) increase.

My only gripe are my fellow guests - many not wearing masks inside the Hotel nor using the plastic food preparation gloves. Similarly. I didn’t see a single guest return their used towel (indicating their sun bed was now available to others - a practice compounded by a large number of ‘bed baggers’ - to the nearby Pool Attrndant’s booth.

All in all, however, a most enjoyable stay at a property with the facilities (superb infinity pool) and staff to become the Island’s Premier Resort. Good luck!!

Room tip: La vue piscine + mer est fantastique. Le top doit être la suite d'angle (mais très onéreuse).
