Stayed for 3 nights. It was ok.

Location-close to omonia metro station, also close to syntagma station- you can take the tram to the beach from here-the one that says voula-, also the bus to the airport leaves from here, and it takes about 45 min. Also close to the acropolis and monastiraki-great places to eat there. Didn't seem a bad area as i heard people saying. Honestly all Athens seemed the same to me.

Room- clean, basic, with ac and wi-fi. Had a fridge, very helpfull. The bathroom was also basic. I came to visit, so the room was just to have a place to sleep and take a shower. It served its purpose.

Breakfast- begins at 8, late in my oppinion. Consisted in boiled eggs, bread, biscuits, cheese, ham, butter, jam, honey, cereals, milk, juice, coffee. All fresh.

Service- the boys at the reception were nice, helpfull, gave me a map and instructions. They speak good english. Also they kept my bag safe after i checked out, as i had my flight in the evening.

Overall a nice experience. Fair for the price.

They are everything they promise online. Clean, efficient, English speaking, close to Acropolis and offer a good breakfast to start your day. The windows are sound proof,, letting you sleep well despite being in the busy area. They are happy to provide you with additional information about nearby places, what to avoid and what to do. The folks on the reception speak English and are really friendly. I would definitely recommend them for a stay in Athens.

Stayed four nights in this budget hotel located in one of the more colourful areas of Athens. Handy for the metro though a bit rough round the edges at night. Hotel pretty basic but air conned with a fill your boots breakfast. Cleaned every day. Shower curtain and a wall bracket would have been useful but hey ho this is Greece. Friendly staff and good value for money.

Actually you can't expect big things. Small room (it was enough for me), small bathroom (It wasn't). My room was 4th floor and had a balcony, air con. small fridge, Tv, satellite receiver, hair dryer. It's located near a road therefore so noisy but isolated windows prevented.

Briefly you looking for a average otel That's for you..

Moka hotel is a nice accommodation located in Athens city centre, next to Omonia square. The location is strategic, as it's 3mins walking to the metro and 15mins walking to the Acropolis. Although being close to all facilities, the area is very dodgy, with homeless people and drug addicts in the street. During the day it is feasible, but it might get dangerous during the night, just foresee a cab to take you back to the hotel and you will be fine.
The hotel itself is nice, standard furniture but clean. It is not a modern fancy hotel, but you pay what you get. The room has old furniture, but it is spacious and clean, and equipped with TV and A/C.
The breakfast is quite good, mainly continental. I would have preferred to have something more local, perhaps some tiropita or greek sweets.
The staff is very kind, very helpful and friendly.
WIFI was included and was very efficient.
