You can't really go wrong staying here when visiting Athens. For me, it hit all the marks in terms of location, access, style, cleanliness and overall comfort. The hotel is easy walking distance from the Acropoli metro station (use the main entrance on Makrigianni road, then head downhill), which makes getting around town super easy. At the same time, you are a short walk from the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. You can also walk to nearby Hadrians Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Filopappou Hill (for a great view over Athens). The modern design studio style apartments (you have a small refrigerator, microwave and dishes) are compact, but spotlessly clean. The owners/managers are also a wealth of local information, but do note that the reception is not open 24 hours. One small drawback is street noise, which is to be expected in the heart of a big city. However, the windows do a very good job of reducing most of the street noise. Overall, a great, modern, convenient place to stay in the heart of Athens.
Pro: location, ease of access, modern style, cleanliness
Con: some street noise in area
