Was taken here on a food tour and unfortunately only tasted their famous “koupou” (a small cheese-filled bun), but there was a huge selection of delicious-looking savoury pies (only saw one sweet one). Would love to have good back to taste others.

If you are someone who loves pies! Go here, they are authentic pies that have a home-made touch, is a take-away place and you will be spoilt for choices with the range that they offer. My husband and I had a sweet pie, as the weather was cold and surprisingly the pie was still very warm and they are so generous with their fillings. Amazing friendly staff too!!!

No tables, just take-away.
A variety of pies (chicken, potato, cheese, mushroom etc).
All cooked fresh (and hot).
If you are near Syntagma Square or Ermou Street it's worth a try.

This is one of my regular places for a quick bite in Central Athens. No frills place that has only one type of food on offer : traditional pies. Lately, it does also offer a range of piroshki, an imported fried pie recipe from Russia . Fortunately, this focus does work well, their varied range of traditional pies is excellent and it is relatively inexpensive.

A classic take away pie shop in the city center located near Syntagma, with a wide choice of traditional Greek pies. Great place to grab a warm tasty pie on the go for only 2 Euro/piece. I had spinach pie (Spanakopita) and cheese pie (Tyropita). I look forward to trying other pies when I come to Athens next time.
