One of the best welcome we ever had. Not just the glas of Portwine. A very friendly introduction to the city and the best spots.
Even Porto is kind of „under construction“ it‘s worth to spend some days there.
The hotel is in a perfect location. And the SPA helps to relaxe before you go out for the night.

We stayed at the Flores Village Hotel & Spa for 3 nights in mid-March.
The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by public transport (25 mins), followed by a 15 minute walk from the Trinidade Metro station.
Upon arrival we were greeted by exceptionally friendly hotel staff who immediately offered us a glass of Port and enthusiastically told us of all Porto has to offer, whilst marking-up a map for us in the process.
Our room was really more of a suite with two separate rooms, the first containing a small kitchen, couch, dining table and chairs and the second containing a rather narrow double bed and adjoining ensuite facilities.
I believe our room had a view of the courtyard, so we didn’t have any excessive street noise to deal with at night. Because of the geometry of the room (I think our neighbouring room was offset), we heard very little noise at all; having said that, I’m not sure how full the hotel was on the weekend we were there.
The room was well maintained and everything was clean. Our only grumble was that the room was a little chilly and despite my best attempts, I couldn’t get any warm air out of the ventilation system. Nevertheless, the issue wasn’t bad enough to raise with the front desk and I am sure they would have addressed it promptly upon request.
The complementary breakfast had a pretty good selection and was fit for the purpose.
The location of the hotel is excellent; the banks of the Douro are within a few minutes walk and the various Port houses on the other side of the river are still within comfortable walking distance (probably around 15 min walk).
If you reach your limits on the Port drinking, there are also plenty of other interesting sights to see all within walking distance of the hotel (e.g. St. Anthony’s Church, Batalha Square, Livraria Lello, Bolhão Market…)
Overall we were very happy with our stay at at the Flores Village Hotel & Spa and we will surely check-in here again in future visits.

After our friendly and very helpful front desk staff told us about the city, we never needed a guide. Centrally located near the train station, this hotel features beautifully renovated classic decors.

The hotel is nicely located right in the historical center and close to any touristic place to visit . It's very well decorated with a pretty high standard .
The hotel is very nice , with 3 buildings and 2 main gardens . The first building is very elegant , the second one has mainly duplex apartment and the third one seems the most quiet . The second one is Ideal for family as they have family room plus kitchenette . It seems that the have family room in the first building with a better standard as the second building would certainly benefit from renovation . ( it would worth it to change the linoleum , the white: beige sofa turns grey unfortunately )
The garden is a really nice one with a great view on the city and the cathedral
The breakfast is delicious and the hotel staff really nice and helpful
The main improvement for this hotel would be to renovate the room in term of sound proofing . I have been waking up/ early morning each night by either my closest neighbors and their kids or by the other tourists enjoying the garden at midnight or the hotel neighbors enjoying their terrace during the night....

Let's start with the arrival, which was wonderful. They started us with a nice Port Wine and put us into an upgraded room in the private section. This place is wonderful and the staff is so helpful. They aimed us at the right attractions, helped us with transportation and got us to the right restaurants. First trip to Portugal and we were fortunate to start here!
