The Suite Hotel Eden Mar is a beautiful resort with beautiful grounds, great staff, excellent food choices, excellent entertainment and great location and room choices.
Our family would like to recognize Rosa Matias and Nino in the dining room.
Also the front staff and the chefs.

I’ve just come back from a one week stay at Eden Mar with my two teenage daughters and we had a wonderful holiday. The hotel has all that you would need and is spotlessly clean. The staff were amongst the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered on holiday and should be highly commended.
My only slight negative and this is very very minor is the balcony furniture in the rooms is not that comfortable but I’m being really picky and this was the only minor. We had an issue with our bathroom sink and the air con but this was sorted within 30 minutes, I couldn’t have asked for better service.
The beds and pillows are so comfortable, I slept well each night.
WiFi was great in the room but according to my teenage daughter a bit hit and miss around the pool, this wasn’t an issue for me but teens and their phones seem to be inseparable these days!
We had breakfast at the hotel each morning and there was a huge choice, the made to order omelettes were delicious.
We also ate in the hotel restaurant two nights, one was BBQ night and the other was the a la carte menu. Wow quality food each time and presented really well.
Location wise it gives lovely sea views and is fairly near to the coastline so there are some hills which may be an issue for the less able bodied but this is Madeira and it’s hilly all around. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby for all your essentials.
So yes I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers.
This hotel is really nice. The staff are friendly and the surroundings are tropical. The pools and gardens are very clean and well kept. The food at breakfast is good. There is a good selection and it is usually hot. The rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning. The location is good with plenty of restaurants to choose from serving a good variety of food. The nightly entertainment was not good except the weekly tribute act which was very good. The prices inside the hotel are very expensive so we did not eat or drink inside the hotel.
If you like to spend time on the beach this is not the hotel for you. The nearest beach is a 30 minute walk away.
We have just spent a very enjoyable two week stay at the Suite Hotel Eden Mar. Everything about the hotel was first class. Every member of staff we came into contact with was very helpful, polite and had a smile.
