Very nice location, extremely clean- i saw this hotel being cleaned morning noon and night, breakfast had good choice for everyone, the evening menu my son enjoyed he loved the peanut mousse and duck aranchini - never have we eaten at the same place twice when we go away which is often, he said he felt relaxed , happy loved the food here and didnt want to go anywhere different, the views were stunning and the fact he could watch any football match he asked for every evening in the bar area which was very family orientated - all staff were welcoming and went out of their way for our requests, from football on the TV to food, to extended check out, booking us trips, taxis etc,towels changed daily, beds made daily- really nice experience will be back and to be right next to CR7 museum and to look out across the city and see one of Ronaldos first ever clubs nestled in the hills was an extra treat - we also loved the hot tub on the roof the exercise equipment and the grass was very well maintained in a hot country like Madeira this must take some doing - also underground parking available and right next to the marina where all boat trips , Whale watching etc depart from

Unlike another Pestana hotel I stayed at, this one was just mediocre. It’s in real need of updating ( eg. green shag carpet in hallways). The location is fantastic though and cannot be beat. Most staff were lovely and helpful. Nice breakfast was included.

Totally comfortable stay. Staff really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Loved the whole experience. A lot of Ronaldo memorabilia, which is why I went. Hugo, the Ambassador, was warm and friendly, as was all staff. Absolutely loved it
