This place is great! Near downtown area and has very friendly staff. The man greeting us didnt know much english but his kind nature and patience was fantastic. The lady working the night shift at the front desk was also very kind and hailed us a cab to the airport. The room itself was clean and quiet. Only issues were the springy beds and stiff pillows but definitely recommend if you are looking for a pleasant stay in Lisbon.

Room tip: The street Av Reis is fairly quiet so it would be fine to choose a room overlooking it.

Stayed here for 4 nights in October 2016. We checked in early at 11am and there was no problem with this as the room was ready. Nice clean bed, room and bathroom with clean bedclothes and towels. There are shutters on the windows which really help to keep the noise down and also keep the room very dark for a good nights sleep. I asked for extra pillows and these were given to me immediately.
Just up the street are cafes where you can get breakfast of pastries and coffee/tea at a very cheap price, you can also get a beer here in the evenings.

Just down the street is Anjos Metro station ( on the Green Line ).
The best value for public transport is the daily pass (Viva Viagem card) for €6 (€6.50 initially for the card and 24 hrs travel) which covers all your trams, metro, buses, veniculars and lifts for a 24 hr period.

You can also get the metro to Jardim Zoologico on the Blue Line , then cross the road to Sete Rois bus station and get bus no 50 to Fatima on a 1 hour 20 min journey for €20.40 return.

At Cais do Sodre Metro station (Green Line) you can get train to the beautiful seaside resort of Cascais for €3.50 return.

Very nice accommodation. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned every day.
Staff from reception very friendly, helpful and well organised. Close to metro and within walking distance to city centre.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone who want to visit Lisbon.

This was a very cheap but great place to stay in Lisbon. It is a stone's throw away from everything, both walking distance and public transport, and incredibly easy to access from the airport. The room was small but very clean, the bathroom one of the cleanest and most comfortable we have had in Europe. The air conditioning was great too. Walking up five or six flights of stairs after a long walking day was tough, but for the money you pay, it's worth it.

Room tip: Third floor is quite a hike up the stairs and could be challenging with heavy luggage; however, it was very quiet.
