we were here for lunch on the day we arrived Cascais. The restaurant has limited number of tables and we took the last available table. The menu is interesting and is with quite a number of creative octopus dishes. We ordered the fried octopus as starter, Polvo Lagareiro and Polvo with sweet potato as main dish. They were all really delicious and the portion is big as well. After the starter, we hardly can finish our main dishes and we packed the leftovers home. The Sangria that we ordered was also good. Price of the foods and drinks are reasonable. The service was really friendly and efficient.

We arrived to Cascais exhausted and sleep deprived after a flight from hell. This tiny place nourished both our bodies and souls. Delicious food, yummy wine, warm service and really interesting food. Do nit decide you don’t like octopus until you have tried it here. Octopus is difficult to do well- they do it perfectly!

We visited after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and were so glad we did. We took the precaution of nipping in at lunchtime to make a reservation for that evening which was just as well as we got the last table and during our meal they had to turn away quite a few people.
The menu is varied, we were spoiled for choice but the manager was very helpful in describing the dishes on offer and helping us to make a selection. We were not disappointed - clever and imaginative cooking which we will return to sample again on our next visit to Cascais. Incidentally, we asked for one of the same dishes later on at a rather more prestigious restaurant in the town - it didn't even come close.

It is 5 minutes from the train station and easy to find. Best to make a reservation since it has only 4 tables...but it is the best octopus you will ever taste. It's fresh, tasty and very cheap. The best of the best is the deep fried tentacles with garlic sauce.
All time long the staff was kind, helpful, smiley and friendly at the end the owner also helped us with some tips on where to have good drinks and what to visit nearby and in Lisbon as well.

Hidden in a narrow alley lies this gem of a restaurant that is specialized, and mainly serves, Octopus in all variations.

The food is very fresh, tasty and cooked to perfect point. All dishes have their own unique taste but the highlight is the fried octopus starter with a garlic-mayonnaise dip. The best in this style I ever had. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with the selection of the dishes. They take their time to explain you the menue and give recommendations.

As the place only has 5 tables it is advised to give them a call in advance and make a reservation prior to you visit.

Truly and amzing restaurant and well worth the money. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you will get.
