We've been visiting Cascais for the past three years and have rented a fab apartment but this year, our rental ended on a Friday we decided to grab an extra 2 days sunshine and booked 2 nights at Biai.
We'd always thought it looked a bit dowdy but how wrong were we! Spotlessly clean, modern, wonderful friendly staff and keen prices on food and drink!
Superb sea views and a brilliant way to end our holiday, thank you Biai!

I am totally in love with Cascais. Part of that was due to the wonderful location of our hotel and the service we received.

The rooms are quite basic but spotlessly clean and really well serviced. The breakfast buffet is tasty and plentiful with delicious coffee! Hot and cold buffet with lots of pastries and bread. You can eat on the terrace outside or in the restaurant itself.

Their roof top pool is just fabulous. However, there is only about 16/18 sun beds but lots of other seating. The pool itself is actually indoors but it gives a refreshing rest from the sun. They serve delicious food in the little bar there too.

If you prefer the beach, well there is a lovely little cove right facing the hotel. Literally a couple of hundred yards walk. It gets busy but it's really lovely.

The hotel itself is right beside so many great bars and restaurants that there is no need for taxis and if you want to venture a little further then the bus and train stations are a short walk.

We had a wonderful stay and have already recommended it to family and friends. We will most definitely be back!

Hotel Baia has the best location in Cascais with a brilliant rooftop sun lounge and pool. It's right on the beach within 100 metres of all the best restaurants and bars!! It's also 5 mins walk from the train and bus stations. The breakfast is buffet style & plentiful enough without being fantastic....but the omelet in the rooftop bar is gorgeous!!

Room Tip: Book a sea view room....it's only €20 extra!!

We stayed at this hotel last year and the best thing we had was the view.
I don't like to speak bad about places, but the hotel was expensive, the rooms were bad, the breakfast was terrible bad.
It is definitely not a 3 stars hotel. Maybe 1 and a half

Thank you for your rather susicious review. If you stayed with us last year and had a bad experience why would you wait for a year before reviewing us?

We stayed on the last possible floor with a great view of the Cascais Bay. Beauuuutiful sunrises. The staff is very friendly. Make sure you get a view to the front if you like beach view. The rooms facing back are to the Pub square, although fun they can be noisy. And speaking of noisy, for 10 days in August, there are free concerts at the beach and they last until 2AM so.. it will be noisy, yet, entertaining. The parking in the Hotel is payed. There are certain places in the city where you can park for free but they are at least 8 minutes away walking. Besides, its safer to have in the parking. The park is small, so make sure you get it reserved if you need it. Breakfast is simple continental but has a lot to offer specially with the outside seating facing the beach!
The swimming pool on the last floor (inside pool) is small but enough and the view is spectacular. This pool is great for winter!
At night it feels great to have a drink by the balcony in front of the pool.
You will be only 10 minutes away from the station that takes you to Lisbon.
WiFi is very good

Room Tip: choose a front room for sea view and back for pub square and town view. A higher floor is better
