Went early for lunch before restaurant opened and there was already a line up. No wonder, the food here is very delicious, nothing fancy, just simple local dishes cooked with the freshest ingredients. There were three men behind the counter and they definitely know what they’re doing. My friend and I ordered sardines in olive oil (so good!) and tried what I believe is their specialty meat dish - ossos ?
The meat was so tender ...melt-in-your-mouth goodness! We were hesitant to order it at first as portion looked big but ended up finishing the whole platter! The sardines were so fresh, we were dipping our bread in the olive oil it was drenched in.
Best quick lunch ever! Wish we had more time to try their other specialties. Location is a bit hard to find as it is on the side narrow street but totally worth asking around for. A charming quirky place, highly recommended.
