We made the 'deal purchase' when we bought the castelo ticket. The museum is beautifully displayed and has the original well in the centre - quite a sight! For us the visit would have been better if the explanation signs had been in English.
Interesting insight into local archeology, the original well is impressive. There is enough to see for a small place.
First of all get the ticket that gets you into the castle as well. The museum seems a little dull at the begining but it does get better. The well is a great feature as is being able to go out onto the old walls. I would have rated this as good but its not an option !
First thing - get the combined castle and museum ticket.
Interesting and well laid out museum covering the full sweep of history from early man through to quite modern times. The Arab cistern/well is brilliant, as is the contrast and similarity in pottery through the ages. Not huge, but plenty to entertain and inform.
Card machine not working on our visit - not sure if this is the normal situation.
Fantastic well laid out.showing history from 5500 bC onwards but not in an overbearing manner. Take a gentle stroll in the airy museum which leads you gently through time. Fantastic viewing area. Combine price with the castle and it's good value for money.
