I was pleasantly surprised with in the way information was presented in this small but very educational & entertaining museum. Very friendly receptionist. Allowed to take pictures which is usually a no-no. Costumes & figures were (my opinion) artistically well made

It was a great way to kill some time and get out of the hot sun. My eight year old even had a good time looking at all the different exhibits, it's small but not too overwhelming. We were able to get some souvenirs as well.

Small museum but well worth the 5 Euros entry fee. Wax statues are very well done and the museum is very well organised. The information is presented in both Portuguese and English and is very complete. A truly interesting experience! It is a shame it is not in the centre of Lagos, it would have a lot more visitors. However it was a nice walk pass the Marina, its well sign posted!

This is a very interesting little museum at Lagos marina. A fascinating insight into the huge contribution Portuguese explorers made in exploring the new world.

Its small for the entry price of 5€ but it was quite fun. Nice layout and information but you can fly through the exhibit.

Nicely exhibit all the discoveries.Short but all required information is mentioned.
It is located exactly at Marina de Lagos. Its not very big. You can finish in 15 to 20 min. If you love history then its worth a visit. On a hot sunny day a good experience.
