We took our children of 9 and 6 years old and their grandparents to the science centre whilst in Lagos and spent a good couple of hours there. Whilst not being a large place, there was plenty to keep our children interested and lots of activities for them to do. The staff were excellent, especially Ricardo who was very informative and gave us a hand with some of the activities when we struggled. All instructions are in Portuguese and English. At only 12 euros for a family ticket, it was a great way to entertain the kids and get them out of the sun for a little while.

Really worth a visit with children. Loads of interesting hands on exhibits. Great outdoor play area and only 12€ for a family ticket.

Quite a lot for older children to learn and understand.

There is no cafe on site but chairs for you to have a break and your own drink, or lots of cafes nearby and readmission if necessary.

It is about 3min walk from the Portuguese football shop in the center of the old town area, overlooking the marina

Went with two eight year olds and we all loved the interactive exhibits. A great way to spend a few hours. Have a great outside play area too.

Brilliant little find and a just 7 euros for a family of 4, a total bargain for a rainy afternoon!!!

There are lots of interesting nautical facts to read and investigate, interactive displays for kids of all ages and very helpful and informative staff to assist and make the visit even more fun.

Whilst not entirely easy to find, ask a local, it was most definitly worth the two hours we spent there and i would imagine even better if the weather was sunny as we were unable to play in the outdoor area due to the rain!!!
